Flash Flooding Hits Southern California On Christmas Eve

A small tornado was confirmed in Boyle Heights on Christmas Day, damaging homes, businesses, and trees as it moved through Lee St, Siskiyou St, and Whittier Blvd near Lorena. Security cameras captured powerful rotating winds and flying debris. Confirmed by the NWS, this is the first tornado within Los Angeles city limits since 2014.
