In 2017, Shaker Village launched its largest preservation project since the 1960s in order to preserve, protect and interpret the Village’s spiritual center. Built in 1820, The Meeting House housed worship services which included the shaking, whirling dances that gave the Shakers their name. This weekend, join us as we sing this beautiful space back into use. During this free event, everyone will be encouraged to sing along!
