The 29th Annual Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride launched at 10 a.m. this morning. It has become tradition for dedicated riders for begin in Cherokee and finish in Tuskahoma, OK. The event includes a three-day Indian Festival held in Waterloo, AL from Sept. 16-18. The trip brings together up to 15,000 riders in honor of those who were forceable removed from their land after the Indian Removal Act of 1830.
