I bought this Lufkin Rule No. 58 level second hand from an antique shop, I believe either in Tennessee or Kentucky. This was the first time I checked it. Needed a slight adjustment and now it’s near perfect and ready to use. Lufkin precision tools seem to always be underrated and overshadowed by other big name tool makers but I honestly think their quality was on par with the best of the best!
