The bunker under The Greenbrier, codenamed 'Project Greek Island,' was a self-contained city designed to house all 535 members of Congress and their staff for up to 60 days. It featured a power plant, decontamination showers, a TV studio for broadcasts, and even a hospital and cafeteria.
