Happy International Fishing Cat Day, the first of it’s kind! Fishing cats are a small wild cat found predominantly in South and South East Asia, in and around wetlands, rivers, and mangrove forests. Fishing cats are similar in size and shape to common domestic cats, however, they are much heavier (weighing in at around 9-10kgs) and features such as their semi-webbed paws that make them so well adapted to their water-based natural habitats.
