"Can humanity enjoy the benefits of both asteroid and lunar mining without compromise, or do we have to choose one at the expense of the other?"
It's officially summer, and with that comes the first full moon of the season. July's full moon -- known as the Buck Moon or the Thunder Moon -- will light up the night sky on July 10 and be at its fullest going into July 11.
The next full moon is Saturday, Aug. 9, and is sometimes called the Sturgeon Moon. It gets that name from when "The Great Lakes and Lake Champlain sturgeon were said to be most readily caught," per the Old Farmer's Almanac.
The full moon will come "with a celestial bonus—setting in the early morning sky near a dazzling alignment of Saturn, Venus, and Jupiter."
Because this full moon is in Capricorn, issues around structure, ambition, and goals will come into focus as well as hard work, discipline, and responsibility. This may not sound exciting, but look at it this way: This full moon in July, also called the Thunder Moon, will enable and encourage us to get our lives in order.
