Avengers: Endgame centres on the surviving Avengers as they come together to reverse the devastation caused by Thanos, who wiped out half of all life in the universe.

Endgame was released, but the Encore edition is set to top the box office again this weekend. According to Variety, Endgame Encore is tracking to earn $25-28 million dollars at the domestic box office across its opening weekend.

Endgame is now back in cinemas with an extra five minutes of footage that will act as a bridge between Endgame and Avengers: Doomsday. The footage in question includes an introduction from actors Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr ("love you 3000!

The film will compete with Zach Cregger’s horror movie for first place in the North American box office rankings on its reissue opening weekend, while Resident Evil is in its second frame.
