(NewsNation) — President-elect Donald Trump‘s promises to sign a nationwide “concealed carry reciprocity” law could soon become reality, and gun violence prevention groups are concerned.

Donald Trump had promised to enact "concealed carry reciprocity," which would allow gun owners' permits to be valid in all states.

Twenty-nine states already allow some form of concealed carry reciprocity, including some that only honor concealed carry permits from out-of-state gun owners if their state reciprocates.
