The Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto witnessed Caitlin Clark’s record-breaking feat Friday night. After helping Team USA win gold at the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, the Indiana Fever star returned to WNBA action and immediately made her presence felt.

Unfortunately for Clark, she is close to losing the rookie points record to Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles. Miles tied Clark’s record of 769 points during the Lynx’s game against the New York Liberty on Friday. She scored 20 points on 5-of-18 shooting, although the Lynx lost 93-81.

Clark leads the league in technical fouls with seven, tied with Angel Reese and Kahleah Copper. One more tech would result in an automatic one-game suspension. White was asked about her superstar's current situation, prompting a strong statement from the Fever coach.
