Athlon Sports. It was a historic night for the Chicago Sky on Wednesday as they hosted Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings at Wintrust Arena. The franchise chose July 9 as the day to retire a jersey for the first time.

Sky forward Angel Reese scored 15 points and added 11 rebounds, one assist and one block. She went 6-of-10 on field goals and was 3-of-5 from the free throw line. Wings rookie guard Paige Bueckers' contributed 17 points while adding four assists, three rebounds and two steals.

Rebecca Allen scored a season-high 27 points to help the Chicago Sky beat the short-handed Dallas Wings 87-76 on Wednesday night.
