Rookie Anthony Hill Jr. maintains his starting role following a dominant 16-tackle debut, even as Cedric Gray nears a return to bolster the Tennessee defensive rotation.

A third-year linebacker out of UNC, Gray was one of the Titans' emergent stars in 2025. Along with Williams and right tackle JC Latham, Gray is one of three projected starters who the Titans selected in the 2024 NFL Draft.

UTV accident and ended up sitting out the Titans' season-opening loss to the Jets. The linebacker appears to have made some positive strides in his recovery heading into Week 2, as his full participation in practice means that he's at least reached the fourth phase of the NFL's five-step concussion protocol.

Last week, the Tennessee Titans had to face the New York Jets without linebacker Cedric Gray, who was forced to miss the game after suffering a concussion in a UTV accident and was placed in the NFL's concussion protocol. Now, after a full week of practice, Gray is set to make his 2026 debut against the Philadelphia Eagles.
