Panthers owner David Tepper weighed in on quarterback Bryce Young’s future on Wednesday.

Since Dave Canales arrived in 2024, the Panthers have been outscored by 221 points in the first half of games.

After that, the Panthers visit the Cleveland Browns, who had the third-best passing defense in the league in 2025. While they're now missing two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett, the Browns still have a lot of quality pieces on this side of the ball. That makes this the first true test of the year for Young and the Panthers offense.

When the Panthers traded up to select Bryce Young at No. 1 overall in the 2023 draft, team owner David Tepper noted that the club felt like Young gave Carolina the best chance to win Super Bowls — with an emphasis on the plural.

Tepper was big on Young when Carolina drafted him No. 1 in 2023. He said Wednesday: “Can he bring it every single game? I believe he can.”
