Metro Detroit weather: One more day of rain as flood watch remains in effect
Morning rain will be light but scattered afternoon storms could come with heavier rain and localized flooding for some in Southeast Michigan.
Tracking rain and storms this morning with severe weather possible later tonight. Highs between the storms will reach the upper 70s and low 80s.
Storms bringing strong winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes are expected to develop after 7 p.m. Tuesday across the region.
Michigan's floods could worsen as rain continues. Rain predictions city-by-city for Wednesday, April 15, and Thursday, April 16.
Rain returns tonight with a few rumbles of thunder possible. Temperatures will be well above average this week with multiple rounds of thunderstorms.
A weather system passing through the region between mid-morning and early evening Thursday could trigger severe weather.
Friday night into Saturday morning, a strong cold front will bring more rain and storms as well as a much cooler air mass. Sunday’s highs will barely make it into the upper 40s, with lows early next week below freezing.

Possible severe weather is expected to hit Metro Detroit. The system is coming from the West and crossing Lake Michigan from Wisconsin.
