Stephen Graham took home the BAFTA Television Award for leading actor on Sunday night for his performance as Eddie Miller – the beleaguered plumber and father who serves as his 13-year-old son’s “appropriate adult” through a police arrest that will shatter everything his family has built – in “Adolescence.

Netflix drama Adolescence was the big winner at the Bafta Television Awards on Sunday, while The Celebrity Traitors and Last One Laughing also scooped a share of the glory.

Netflix’s mega hit Adolescence leads the nominations with seven, followed by Amandaland with four nods and A Thousand Blows, which has two.
