Michigan is expected to host Top-100 2028 quarterback Carter Zingelmann during Saturday's matchup against UTEP.

ANN ARBOR — In an unusual twist, Michigan has back-to-back nonconference games against teams that already faced each other this season. On Saturday, Michigan hosts UTEP, which lost 51-0 to Oklahoma to open the season.

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Educational Talent Search (ETS) Program at The University of Texas at El Paso has a $375,000 grant that helps students overcome barriers to higher education, according to university officials.

While Michigan's offense has struggled a bit for two weeks, the defense has not. Jay Hill's unit has only given up one touchdown through eight quarters of football. With a wet field and ball, UTEP's already-struggling offense could really have a hard time against a Michigan defense that was lights out against John Mateer and Oklahoma.
