The summer of “Saturday Night Live” casting announcements has come to a close, with the ensemble for this year’s season finally solidified (less than two weeks before the Sept. 26 premiere). This year’s cast has remained largely intact compared to last year’s shakeup.

On Oct. 3, Dakota Johnson will host the sketch comedy show for the third time. The “Fifty Shades of Grey” star is currently promoting her upcoming film “Verity,” which is based on Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same name. Johnson will be joined by musical guest Turnstile. The rock band will be making their “SNL” debut.
