A former researcher at Anthropic recently warned that the company was racing to build technologies that “could kill us all by the end of the decade.”
A current and former staffer at AI firm Anthropic said Tuesday there is a chance AI could kill all humans within the next decade.
The previously unreported meetings have come as utility companies grapple the risks posed to the grid by autonomous hacks.
He also said that it was ‘absolutely’ possible to build an AI beyond human control.
