One of the leading public health associations came out Monday against President-elect Trump's nomination of vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for HHS secretary.

The chaos and disinformation spread by the first Trump administration threatened the health of our communities, especially those experiencing racism, poverty, and xenophobia.

Grimmway Farms, which made and packaged the organic carrots under various brands, issued the recall on Saturday after nearly 40 cases were recorded in 18 states. The only death was reported in Los Angeles County.

The outbreak, detected across 18 U.S. states, is linked to carrots and baby carrots sold by brands such as Wegmans, 365, Trader Joe’s and Nature’s Promise.
