For her first solo venture, Neagley investigates the death of a childhood friend, and in doing so, she discovers a few skeletons from her own past. Frances is no stranger to snapping a few bones or beating a few skulls in (albeit with more finesse than Reacher), but these skeletons prove to be a lot more troublesome.

This is, admittedly, something that happened in the first two seasons of "Reacher," but Ritchson's Reacher feels far more detached from the victims despite being close to them in theory.
