Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Kyle Tucker fell a triple short of the cycle Thursday, but his four-hit performance helped the Dodgers clinch another NL West title with an 8-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds.

Tucker had a 2-run home run and an RBI double as the Dodgers built an early lead. The win clinched their 13th NL West division title in the past 14 seasons.

Kyle Tucker has spent much of his first season with the Los Angeles Dodgers trying to find consistency at the plate. There have been long stretches when nothing seemed to work, including a painful 0-for-26 run that only added to the pressure surrounding the 29-year-old outfielder.

The Dodgers have just nine more games in the regular season. After clinching the National League West for the 13th time in the last 14 years, they're still battling for playoff positioning with the Milwaukee Brewers and Atlanta Braves.
