Wide receiver Jalen Coker, an undrafted rookie in 2024, is thriving with the Carolina Panthers. The same can’t be said for the team’s first-round draft pick that year, Xavier Legette. Legette finds himself firmly behind Coker on the depth chart — and the gap only seems to be widening.

Coker injured his ankle in last Sunday’s loss to the Bears and was in a boot early in the week, but said he would be fine to face the Falcons and he returned to full practice participation on Friday. He has no injury designation for this weekend’s game, so he’ll be available to build on his two-touchdown start to the 2026 season.
