Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been left out of India’s squad for the second Test against England at Edgbaston. He is replaced by fellow fast bowler Akash Deep. There are two other changes from the squad named in the first Test, with Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar coming in for Sai Sudharsan and Shardul Thakur.

Yashasvi Jaiswal once again took a toll of England's bowlers before the hosts hit back on the opening day of the second Test at Edgbaston on Wednesday. The third Test at Lord's starts just four days after the scheduled end of the game in Birmingham.
