San Francisco’s 2026 spring training schedule was announced Wednesday. The Giants will open spring training under Vitello on Feb. 21, 2026 against Seattle at Peoria Stadium in Peoria, Arizona. San Francisco’s first home game is scheduled for Feb. 22, 2026 versus the Cubs at Scottsdale Stadium in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The first two years of Spring Breakout play produced several memorable moments. Paul Skenes throwing a 102-mph fastball to Jackson Holliday and striking him out on a 92-mph slider, and Spencer Jones walloping 826 feet worth of home runs in 2024.

Matt Champan will be the third baseman for the next several years. Willy Adames is under a long-term deal to play shortstop. First base could be a tandem, but the Giants have identified it — superstar Rafael Devers or top prospect Bryce Eldridge. Either could be the designated hitter.
