According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), a magnitude 3.4 quake hit the Auburn area around 3:45 a.m. People reported feeling the earthquake in Auburn, Bremerton, Enumclaw, Kent, Marysville, Seattle, Renton, Tacoma, Graham, and Olympia.

Residents in Auburn and east Pierce County may have woken up early Saturday morning to an earthquake. A 3.4-magnitude earthquake shook the area at about 3:45 a.m., according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. It had a depth of 25.36 kilometers. The earthquake reportedly happened about 13 miles east of Tacoma.
