Los Angeles Police Department officials said an arrest was made Tuesday in the killings of "American Idol" executive Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca, who were found dead Monday in their Encino home.

Officers were conducting a welfare check at a home in the Encino neighborhood when they found the bodies of a man and woman with gunshot wounds.

Kaye was an award winning music producer and part of the “American Idol” family since 2009, and had also worked on Miss Universe, the NAACP Image Awards and other high-profile shows.
