Meta has shown off Muse Charm, a tiny AI gadget that lets users talk to their Muse assistant without unlocking their phone or opening an app.

At Connect 2026, Meta outlined its ambitions for glasses, shopping, and "superintelligence." Specifically, Meta wants its Muse AI assistant to handle more of your everyday tasks, including shopping, responding to emails, and working on your computer.

Just weeks later, the Muse AI agent has gone viral, outpacing the adoption of ChatGPT at its launch, and it shows no signs of slowing.

Spotify now connects with Meta Muse, letting the AI agent play music, create playlists, save tracks, and schedule listening around your day.

The Meta VR Glasses are slimmer and lighter than the company's older Quest-branded VR headsets, but they are also more expensive, costing $1,299 when they go on sale in spring 2027. They represent Meta's latest VR device since 2024 when the company debuted the $299 Quest 3S.

Amazon blocked the Muse app from shopping on its site, and privacy and security concerns are mounting.
